"24-Carat Black samples can be found in music by Eric B. & Rakim, Nas, RZA, Digable Planets, Ugly Duckling, Common, and many more. A few bits and pieces of the original "I'll Never Let You Go" paired with funky drums, congas, rhodes keys, guitar, & horns turned into a lovably funky new tune. At 91 beats per minute with a nice breakdown in the middle, it was hard to resist going double time with the drums at the end. I've always loved drum 'n bass music and always dig that back and forth playfulness of 90 & 180bpm in the same track.

"Funky Fondness" originally appeared on the Sine Wave Surfers Spring 2015 Compilation and is now available high quality WAV format (or just about any other format you like) right here on Bandcamp. Enjoy and thanks for tuning in!"
